Halloween Costume Guidelines

Dear Parents and Guardians

As Halloween approaches, we know many of our students are excited to dress up and celebrate! To ensure that everyone can participate in a fun and safe environment, we’d like to share some important guidelines for the costumes students wear to school.

We kindly ask that all students avoid costumes that are overly scary, violent, or gory. This includes masks, props, or accessories that may frighten younger students or disrupt the friendly and inclusive atmosphere we aim to create. Please keep in mind that some students are sensitive to certain themes, and we want to ensure Halloween is enjoyable for everyone.

  • Chuckie

  • Five Nights of Freddy Characters

  • Pennywise from It

  • Huggy Wuggy

  • Rainbow Friends

  • Scream

  • Harley Quinn

  • etc…

Costumes should also be school-appropriate, meaning no weapons (real or pretend) and no offensive imagery. We encourage creative and imaginative costumes that contribute to a positive experience for all.  Please let your child’s teacher know if your child needs a costume.  We will have extras available.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions about whether a costume is appropriate, please feel free to contact the school office.

We look forward to a fun and festive Halloween!

Best regards,
